M.Sc. Nursing 2 years B.Sc. Nursing from recognised university and minimum of not less than 55% aggregate marks.(50% marks incase of SC/ST Karnataka candidates only),Minimum of one year experience after obtaining B.Sc Post Basic B.Sc Nursing
B.Sc. Nursing 4 years 12th class pass or its equivalent with optional subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) with 50% and above marks.
Post Basic B.Sc Nursing 2 years Diploma in general Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) and must be a registered Nurse
General Nursing & Midwifery 3 1/2 years 12th class pass or its equivalent 50% and above marks.

 

B.Sc. Nursing

Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery

A three and half years Nursing & Midwiferey programme offered at Ikon Nursing School prepares the student for the 'A' Grade Certificate examination in Nursing and Midwifery conducted by the "KarnatakaState Diploma in Nursing Examination Board and Karnataka State Nursing Council".

M.Sc. Nursing - Duration 2 years

Must have passed B.Sc. Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing or Post Certificate B.Sc. Nursing of RGUHS or any other equivalent by RGUHS and must have obtained a minimum of not less than 55% aggregate marks.(50% marks incase of SC/ST Karnataka candidates only),Minimum of 1 year experience after obtaining B.Sc Nursing or minimum of 1 year of work experience prior or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Degree of Post Certificate B.Sc Nursing.

Vacation and Holiday

Annual vacation - 30 days, Sick leave - 10 days per annum and preparatory leave - 7 days per annum. Sick leave cannot be accumulated from year to year.
