Admission is selective and competitive. The curriculum is intensive and fast paced.The College of Nursing reserves the right to select students determined to be the best qualified and most likely to succeed in this challnging graduate program in nursing.

Candidates seeking admission in B.Sc. Nursing shuld have:

• A pass in two years pre-university examination or equivalent as recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University Health Sciences, with science subjects viz, physics, chemistry and biology (Botony and Zoology).
• Obtained atleast 50% of the total marks in Science subjects of the qualifying exmination; if belonging to a scheduled caste or a scheduled tribe, should have obtained not less than 40% of the total marks in science subjects of the qualifying examination.
• Completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete this age on before 31st Dec of the year of admission.

Candidates seeking admission in GNM program should have:

• Minimum and Maximum age for admission will be 17 and 35 years respectively. For ANM/LHV, there is no age bar.
• Minimum education:
  a. 10+2 class passed or its equivalent preferably with Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) subjcts with aggregate of 45% marks.
  b. ANM training i.e. 10+1 1/2 years training should also have passed +2 or its equivalent examination.
• Admission of students shall be once in a year.
• Students shall be medically fit.
• In addition to the above, admission procedure can be laid down by concerned State Nursing Council/Nursing Examination Boards.

• PUC/PDC or +2 certificates
• Marks List
• Transfer Certificate
• Conduct Certificate from the head of the institution last attended
• Medical Fitness Certificate at the time of admission
• Migration Certificate (if the candidate is from out of Karnataka)
• Eligibility Certificate
• 3 Passport Size photos.
